    Hi,
    Deb here,
You know I not sure where you got your statistics’ from but I think there are a few more than 1% in the world of good honest forthright genuine people out there. It is just that corruption comes in many forms, bribery, win falls of money, being in the wrong neighborhood. People are scared; I was terrified after the two more…

The % of honest people in the world is below 1%(From surveys in 12 countries). This is why those who are honest suffer. As I found that it was impossible to live in a world where I could not trust most people, I have started the process to put together a network of honest people. The process is very slow. If you are interested, please send an email more…

Hi! Nice to find a blogger from Finland! :)

I googled for my user name and got a hit on your blog. Apparently, you have commented on my post about Swedish names in American films. I was curious on what you had written, but I can't find the post. It would be interesting to know what Finnish names they use in America when they want a Fi more…

I like your Photos. I visit a zoo every year with my child (or even more often) and have to say my impressions depend on a season. It is really better to look at animals in summer when they are tidy and feel good because of warmth. more…

I am not looking forward to winter eithers and it feels sad that it's soon here again. Here in Finland the winter time always seems to be so long. I like spring and fall time because then it's not that hot and not cold either and everything look so pretty then. Summer is sometimes too hot for me but not this last one because it was too short, rainy more…

We had a day last week where the temperature, when I woke up, was only 4°C. Normal for this time of year here in Edmonton is about 6 as an overnight low.

Me, I am waiting for when it gets to -30°C. But then I like the cold. :D more…

If you want to watch TV you are going to have to watch digital TV, there will be nothing else. There are hundreds of channels, but the trouble is, the only new stuff is the News and that's invariably depressing. Other programmes are repeated time and time and time again. more…

Digital TV is something I really don't want to think about... I know I'm going to have to, but not yet. I watch so little now anyway, this may be the time to stop completely. more…

Can you write Swedish? I have a couple Swedish students here at school. Could you write a nice note
to them, and they could respond? It would be nice
if someone from Northern Europe could write to them,
to make them feel more at home here in the United States. more…

Oh, a year in Zambia--wonderful, but wouldn't you miss your family and pet?

As we say, you "had your cake and got to eat it, too"--American slang term, meaning you got your way in all things...in this case, your cake, ha-ha.

I wish you luck with the job, my friend. more…

At first I don't really believe Feng Shui works. But then i attended a short introduction of it, since my nature of work requires me to understand the aspect of Feng Shui.

After a few experiments, I could see some positive results. The ying and yang, the elements of nature, still remain very mysterious to me. more…

I've missed the best of a sunny day too.

I wish I'd done some Open Uni courses when I was younger. There doesn't seem much point now, and I can't really afford it anyway.

Thank you Sally of your kind words. Yeah it's alwasy so hard when a pet dies. It feel so bad and you can't do nothing to help it.

Oh dear. Sorry to hear about Kissen. It doesn't sound good. The advice I always give is to try to regard her as you would someone else's pet, and let her go when the time is right. I believe that sometimes pets will hang on for our sake, when we should let them go, so I always try to give mine permission to leave.

    It's terribly hard, I more…

You deserve to be happy.

In my opinion happiness is being content. Too many people are unhappy because they are always searching for something new instead of being happy with what they already have.
